Siesbach Süd wind farm

South of Siesbach, a few kilometres west of Idar-Oberstein, three Enercon E-138 wind turbines are being built. The infrastructure is in place, and the foundations have been under construction since mid-October 2026.

The wind farm feeds its electricity directly into the local grid through a transfer station. It does not need a substation of its own for this.

As with all our wind farms, the GERES-Group remains the operator here too, and so the point of contact for the municipality and local residents for the entire operating life.
