Siesbach Süd wind farm: foundation work begins

Work on the Siesbach Süd wind farm in the Birkenfeld district is making visible progress: the infrastructure for the wind farm is in place. Next come the foundations, which will be built from mid-October 2026.

Three Enercon E-138 wind turbines will be erected, with commissioning planned for 2027. The wind farm lies south of Siesbach, a few kilometres west of Idar-Oberstein. We will report on further construction progress here.
